From www.merciabrokerage.co.uk March 2010. Started life as a horse boat built at Saltley in 1909 for FMC. Originally believed to be named Roumania. In the 70's she was converted to a 40ft motor boat by ME Braine of Pelsall. Further refurbishment was carried out by Five Towns Carrying in 1990. During 1998 Keith Ball (Industry Narrowboats) made further alterations, extending her to 50ft, replacing the counter at the same time. Although the bow section is original the majority of the boat is circa 1998 and is now called Tasmania.
