Nb Plover was involved in an unfortunate incident on wednesday morning while being craned out at stretton for annual maintenance. Industry Narrowboats are presently undertaking the repairs required to return plover to as good as new condition. No trees were or will be harmed during this process!

Oh dear! Is she ok? I'm told she is in two halves? At least if she's at Keiths he can sort her out.

Currently owned by Claire and Ian McTavish. With JP3. I\'m sure they would love to see the Cinefilm you have. They are a lovely couple and have been on the canals for many many years.

I think I can add a little bit to the history of Plover (when it was called Parrot) I have some old cine film of Parrot in the lock at Stoke Bruerne in March 1965,travelling up, and steered by Dave Houlsdon. The engine was a bolinder. Sometime after, she was purchased by our friends Clive and Pat Stevens and then she was sold on.
